If you are looking for a young Friesian with the quality of a sporthorse but the temperament of an experienced schoolmaster, Teddy is something very special.
At only four years old, Teddy is incredibly brave, sensible and reliable. Nothing seems to bother him. He is not spooky, hot or sharp and gives his rider an exceptionally safe and secure feeling.
His temperament is genuinely a 2 out of 10. He is forward enough to enjoy his work, but never gives you more energy than you ask for. He stays relaxed, listens to his rider and always wants to do the right thing.
Despite his incredibly easy character, Teddy has all the quality for serious dressage.
He has a modern, athletic way of going with a super fancy and expressive trot, a correct ground-covering walk and a smooth, balanced canter that is extremely comfortable to sit. He is light to the aids, naturally willing and learns new things very quickly.
Both sides of his pedigree bring quality. Teddy is by Tiede 501 and out of a dam line by Take 455, combining modern Friesian sport type with movement and rideability.
