Countdown clock
Every card shows the closing moment and the opening or current bid, converted into the visitor's own currency.
Banner at the foot of the section
Your banner sits at the foot of the Horses for sale or Ponies for sale section and rotates at random with the banners of other auctions.
Straight to your bidding page
Every card and every banner links to your own site. No bidding happens on Sporthorses and we take no commission on the proceeds.
International reach
Your auction horses are translated automatically and shown across every Sporthorses country domain.
Rates
Two ways to place your auction. All amounts include VAT; with a valid EU VAT number outside the Netherlands, VAT is reverse charged.

We check the registration and take your auction live. Until that happens, nothing is visible.

From then on your catalogue is checked every hour. New lots are added, withdrawn lots disappear.

Buyers bid with you
Visitors find your horses in the regular search results and click through to your own bidding page.
Frequently asked questions
- Do I have to upload my horses myself?
- No. You provide the link to your lot overview and we read the rest automatically.
- Does bidding happen on Sporthorses?
- No. Every card links to your own bidding page. Bidding and settlement stay entirely with you.
- What happens when my auction ends?
- The lots are withdrawn automatically and your banner leaves the category. With a subscription you place the next edition without registering again; a one-off placement is bought per edition.
- Can I cancel early?
- Yes. After the minimum term the subscription is cancellable monthly; the term is stated with the rates. After cancelling it runs until the end of the paid period.
