Powerhouse from the Lady-Reveil line: Opoque x Escolar

Volbeat UDP is a powerhouse, moving with a lot of technique and scope. Volbeat UDP is a colt by Opoque x Escolar x Houston. Sire Opoque is still young and was a premium stallion at the stallion inspection, then completed a good performance test and won the 4-year-old competition at the World Championship in Ermelo. Grand sire Escolar competed internationally in Grand Prix under Hubertus Schmidt and has very good offspring. Great grand sire Houston has also produced multiple Grand Prix horses. Volbeat UDP comes from the Lady-Reveil dam line with multiple Grand Prix horses in both dressage and jumping close up in the dam line. Also multiple approved stallions. It was the intention to let Volbeat's dam (by Escolar) participate in the IBOP, but due to circumstances she was already heavily pregnant when she started her training and partly due to her size (1.74m) she lacked the necessary musculature. That is why we decided to let her have her foal at home first, before continuing with the training. According to Jose van Haaren, with whom she was in training, this is a very talented mare.
