Showjumper/hunter/all-rounder for sale

Gio is a willing 15-year-old gelding. I have ridden drag hunts with him for 3 seasons, done training cross-country and jumped. He has a very nice character and prefers being outside. You can hack out alone with him. He is bred for jumping, and loves to jump. Unfortunately, due to a back injury, I can no longer ride, and certainly not jump. That is what he loves doing most. Gio has been with me since he was 7 years old. He had just been backed then. I am looking for a home for him where someone can still enjoy working with him and give him the attention and exercise he needs. Jumping is not a must, but he won't be happy just doing dressage. Gio is well-behaved with the farrier, vet, on the trailer, in-hand and also knows groundwork. He has always been properly vaccinated, dewormed and had his teeth checked. Pre-purchase exam is allowed at buyer's expense. Dealers need not reply. Gio will only go to a home where he gets out a lot and is treated with attention. A golden home is more important than the price. Gio is not suitable for the beginner rider because of his spirit outside and when jumping.
