The dam Zannou B is a half-sister to the successful Small Tour horse Oronia (v.Jazz) ridden by Madeleine Witte-Vrees. This gives Sandstorm the same granddam as the international Grand Prix horse Vontango B (v.Contango), the KWPN-approved international Small Tour stallion Don Tango B (v.Contango), the Oldenburg and Westphalia-approved stallion Antango du Feuillard (v.Ampre), who debuted last year with Maria Mejlgaard Jensen in the international U25 Grand Prix, and the national Big Tour dressage horse Christon B (v.Sandro Hit).
