Estrella is a 5-year-old Baden-Württemberger mare (166 cm, bay) that we are offering as an honest, versatile all-round horse. Due to her age and level of training, she is looking for an experienced and confident rider who enjoys further educating a young horse. Not a beginner's or novice horse.

LINEAGE

Sire: Eldorado van de Zeshoek (BWP, born 2004, by Clinton / Toulon, breeder: Paul Merckx, Belgium) — BWP Champion 2007, internationally successful under Willem Greve (NED) in CSI3* show jumping up to 1.50 m. One of Europe's most sought-after show jumping sires with over 800 offspring, including Grandorado TN, Killer Queen VDM (winner of the Aachen Grand Prix) and Electric Blue P (Max Kühner). FN breeding value for jumping: 158. Willem Greve: "He has unlimited scope and is capable of handling any course in the world with his power."

Damline: Astalavista (by Admiral II, Württemberger, bred in Baden-Württemberg) / Askari (Holsteiner, jumping breeding value 148, breeder: Ute Lill-Bonnhoff, sire of Aragon Z/Christian Ahlmann and European Championship runner-up DSP Alice) / Acord II — a proven combination of Württemberg sport horse base and Holsteiner jumping blood.

TRAINING & JUMPING EXPERIENCE

Estrella works honestly and quietly under saddle. Walk, trot, and canter are even and symmetrical. Her current training focuses on a calm and secure foundation under both dressage and jumping saddles — with clear transitions, rhythm, and suppleness. In jumping, she has gained experience over cavaletti and individual small fences. No sporting specialization has taken place — she continues to be trained carefully and without performance pressure.

Estrella is best suited as a versatile all-round mare for an ambitious leisure or hobby rider — she carries valuable sport horse blood through her sire and damline, providing an interesting basis for an amateur partner who wants to carefully develop a sensitive, willing mare.

Due to her age and level of training, we are looking for an experienced, calm rider who will continue her training carefully and consistently — not a performance-oriented sports home.

CHARACTER & DAILY LIFE

In everyday life, Estrella is uncomplicated, balanced, and a real horse of character. She is friendly and calm in the herd and is out on summer pasture with other horses for the second year in a row. Quiet with the farrier. Her basic attitude is positive — she is curious, attentive, and approaches work with motivation. During training, she chews on the bit symmetrically and evenly — a good sign of relaxed, supple work.

HEALTH

Clean X-rays of legs and back (April 2025) are available — confirming the absence of previous injuries, available for viewing in advance. Current vaccinations May 2026. Deworming carried out at the end of April 2026. Dental correction September 2025, follow-up check December 2025.

WHY IS SHE BEING SOLD?

Her owner is moving abroad and unfortunately cannot take Estrella with her. Selling her is a difficult decision — therefore, a home is explicitly sought that will give her the further encouragement and development she deserves.
