Enthusiastic all-rounder / jumping pony (New Forest)

Hero is a super enthusiastic, willing and eager-to-learn 15-year-old gelding who will do everything for you under saddle. Whether it's an ordinary arena fence or a strange tree trunk in the woods, it doesn't matter. He certainly doesn't lack enthusiasm and spirit. This does mean he requires a confident/experienced rider.

Dressage-wise he also knows a few buttons. He has competed at L1 level proefjes, but in training he shows some higher-level exercises as well.

On hacks he can go out both alone and in a group. Hero is not easily scared of anything. He is a pony that loves water and enjoys walking through it, whether in a large puddle or in the sea.

With his previous owner (5-6 years ago) he jumped 1.10/1.20m courses, but due to the current rider's interests he hasn't been competed much. He is currently ridden for leisure (showjumping, dressage as well as cross-country). He has done small cross-country/jumping competitions, but the rider prefers jumping on their own initiative. He has been taken to cross-country course De Vijfsprong multiple times and performs fantastically there.

The reason for sale is that the rider is going to study in Velp and will no longer have time to care for a horse. It is with a heavy heart that she parts with this star after 5.5 years. Hero is looking for a rider who wants to get to work with him and have fun together. We are looking for a 5-star home for this sweet pony.
