Lovely 9-year-old mare (by Henkie)
Description
I am looking for a suitable new home for my 9-year-old KWPN mare by Henkie x Bordeaux. A handsome chestnut mare of approx. 1.61 m with a sweet, sensitive, and people-oriented character.
In handling, Millie is a real cuddle bug. She is social and affectionate. She behaves well with the farrier and vet, and loads neatly onto the trailer.
Under saddle, she has been shown in dressage (L2 +10) and also has experience in 60 cm training showjumping. At home, we have jumped 80 cm. She has been to medium-sized competitions.
Millie is a sensitive mare who gains a lot of confidence from her rider. Therefore, I am looking for an experienced, calm, and consistent rider who can offer her clarity and security.
After more than 3 years, I have had to accept that we are ultimately not a suitable match. My own insecurity and her sensitivity reinforce each other, which means I cannot offer her the clarity and confidence she needs. This makes the decision extra difficult, but I wish her a rider who can offer her that security.
In the pasture/paddock, she likes to bond with one steady buddy. She finds it difficult to stay behind alone in the paddock or pasture.
