Talented All-round gelding

Wasco is a talented gelding (2018) from the proven combination Wilfred x Casco Boy. His pedigree combines proven jumping genes with a great attitude and rideability. On both the sire's and dam's side we find several horses that have performed at 1.35m to 1.60m level, giving him a strong sport-oriented bloodline.

Wasco is still owned by the breeder, so his full history is known. He is fully clinically and X-ray approved.

Under saddle, Wasco is a horse with a lot of quality and potential. He is extremely willing to work, eager to learn and always wants to work for his rider. He jumps 1.20m with great ease, is honest, does not spook at anything and is a pleasure to work with. In the course he can sometimes get a bit enthusiastic, but remains easy to handle.

Wasco is also nice and easy to ride in dressage. Due to his inquisitive attitude and rapid development, we decided to also compete him in dressage. He managed to win his first selection competition straight away, after which he became reserve district champion and achieved 3rd place at the regional championships.
We are currently preparing him for the National Championships (NK), after which he will become available for a new rider.

In handling, Wasco is a calm, well-behaved and friendly horse, both at home and at shows. He has a lot of patience and is pleasant in daily handling. In the stable, he occasionally grabs the water trough to wind-suck (luchtzuigen).

Wasco is a horse with a strong pedigree, an honest attitude and a lot of talent for sport. We are convinced that he still has plenty of room to develop further and grow into a fine sport horse for an ambitious rider.
