With a heavy heart, I am offering my home-bred mare Remi (Jamerson x Cachet), born in March 2021, for sale. She will only go to a suitable and loving home.

Remi was born and raised with us and has been handled daily since she was a foal. Because she was never trained with the goal of a quick sale, she has been given all the time she needed to develop calmly both physically and mentally. As a result, she has grown into an honest, reliable mare with a fine foundation.

She was intentionally broken in a bit later. In her first year under saddle, the focus was entirely on trail riding and gaining experience. Only after that did we start with dressage work. In addition, much attention was paid to groundwork. Thanks to this calm training, Remi is extremely well-behaved on strange terrain, bombproof in traffic, and level-headed. New environments or unknown situations do not easily impress her, and she is pleasant and easy to handle.

Remi is a special mare with a golden character, an appealing exterior, and three high-quality gaits. She moves with great flexibility and has a natural talent for dressage. In addition, she has enough "blood" and "go," making her pleasantly forward-thinking and happy to work for her rider. She is a sensitive horse and therefore performs best with a calm, consistent rider who gives her confidence.

I do want to mention honestly that Remi has a condition that makes her sensitive to sugars. Therefore, she is on a low-sugar diet. She does not receive haylage (voordroog) or certain concentrates. With the right management, she has no problems with this. Additionally, it is important that she is moved regularly; when she stands still for long periods, she can become a bit stiff and tight in her body. For this reason, the asking price has been adjusted accordingly.

For Remi, I am looking for someone who appreciates her qualities and gives her the time and attention she deserves. A good and permanent home is much more important to me than a quick sale.
