Just like top showjumpers such as VDL Edgar M, Julius.D and Harwich VDL, Wisdom is descended from the Grand Prix sport and breeding stallion Arezzo VDL. Dam Mooiesinaa carries the genes of the prominent Sinaa damline on both her sire's and dam's side. She is a full sister to the international 1.60m horse Bugatti, ridden by Juan Andres Rodriquez, and a half-sister to Celebrity/Pretty Little Liar, who is also successful at the highest level. Granddam Versinaa can be found in the second generation behind several 1.45m horses, including former Blom Cup winner VDL Lightfeet, who now performs with Carlie Fairty. From this direct line, 1.50/1.55m horses such as Zorro, Dakar, Brilliant Berlin, Jack, Crown Royal and High Shutterfly have already been bred.
