CASTILLO DE AZUEL

This magnificent 8-year-old PRE has grown nicely to over 1,65 m. His long mane and beautiful front make him undoubtedly photogenic. He also has particularly fine, sweeping paces.

He has been trained up to and including Z2-dressuur with wins, but also 100 showjumping and is M eventing eligible. This makes him a very level-headed horse, including with heavy traffic and impressive surroundings.

We are looking for a stable home for Cas where he can live in a turnout/24/7 setup, as we know he will be happier with this than the situation in which we can keep him.

Unfortunately, he sustained a tendon injury last year. We put a lot of effort into this treatment process and at the beginning of this year he received a complete green light to get back to work. Unfortunately, due to an unfortunate situation in the field, a tendon injury has flared up again. The latest ultrasound at the end of July showed a good recovering image with the current treatment, but we still want to emphasize that top-level sport is not recommended for his future.

Cas is otherwise healthy, enthusiastic and spirited as befits the breed. Groundwork would suit him very well and a future in working equitation is certainly also possible. The beginnings have been made, but our own experience is lacking. Experience with sensitive horses is required.

Who can offer him a future where he can thrive and find great pleasure in his work?

He is not in training at the moment and is therefore not in sport condition.
