Promising 2-year-old gelding Verdi TN X Diarado

Boccacio is a modern, athletic and correctly built gelding with a lovely presence and a strikingly good canter. He currently stands at approx. 1.65 m and is still developing fully.

Already as a foal, Boccacio managed to distinguish himself during the BWP inspection of Leiestreek. He placed second among the male jumping foals and best BWP horse of his class. The jury described him as a very modern, beautiful and correctly built foal, emphasizing his well-carried canter and good use of the hind leg.

His sire Verdi TN belongs to the most successful showjumpers of his generation. Ridden by Maikel van der Vleuten, he competed for years at the very highest level, with participations in the Olympic Games, World Equestrian Games and European Championships, among others. As a sire too, Verdi TN has made his mark, with numerous offspring breaking through up to international Grand Prix level.

On the dam's side we find Gosella, a daughter of Diarado out of Casall X Cassini I. Gosella herself competed at 1.20m. Her dam Acaselle produced, among others, Hyarano (1.35m), Rebelle-K van 't Kattenheye (1.40m) and Alexa (1.30m).

Boccacio was born and raised with us, meaning his complete background is known. His dam Gosella is also still present with us and can be seen if desired.

Boccacio has already gained some showjumping experience at free-jumping, videos of this are available.

When he was about 18 months old, he was also fully X-rayed with perfect results. The X-rays and the inspection report are available.

Free-jumping videos and X-rays/inspection report are available upon request via WhatsApp.
