Wanna Dance is a son of Just Wimphof (De Niro x Riccione x Sandro Hit) who is now competing at Grand Prix dressage and already has several offspring competing at a high level in dressage.

His dam, the elite mare Hariscalina, participated as a foal and as a three-year-old in the National Mare Inspection in Ermelo. In her test and at the inspection, her movements were awarded high scores. Her full sister was shown up to and including Z dressage at a young age. In addition, her dam Briscalina produced several horses that are now competing in Z dressage abroad. The dam line of Wanna Dance has produced multiple good inspection horses and sport horses at Z and higher, including the Grand Prix horse Uniek.

Grandsire Johnson was Hans Peter Minderhoud's top horse for years and has been at the top of the WBFSH ranking for years as the best dressage sire in the world.
