Picasso (van GoghxRiverman)

Picasso is a young gelding with potential and an incredibly sweet disposition. On the ground he is friendly, affectionate, and loves attention and cuddles. He is not a hot horse. X-rayed and clinically inspected in 2022. Documentation and photos available. Re-inspection is possible, but costs are for the buyer.

Under saddle, Picasso is a horse who thrives best with a clear, consistent, and experienced rider. He needs someone who takes the lead and offers him confidence and guidance.
Picasso's home training currently includes:
• leg-yielding
• shoulder-in/traver
• rein-back
• beginning pirouettes
• collection
• he is learning flying changes

He enjoys going out for hacks in the woods. Due to enthusiasm, he can occasionally buck out there. He is reasonably well-behaved in traffic, but heavy traffic such as tractors still makes him nervous.
Practically speaking, Picasso is also easy to handle. He is well-behaved with the farrier and dentist, and travels nicely in the horse trailer. He can be loaded alone and walks right on. When the trailer is stationary, for example at a show, he can become impatient and paw the ground.

Picasso is definitely a horse with potential, but not a horse that can be described as suitable for everyone. If a rider does not keep him working, he will try to slack off. When he is properly responsive to the leg, he is a wonderful horse to work with. A clear, experienced rider who wants to train him further and grow together with him in the sport is the best match!

For the right person, he can become an exceptionally wonderful partner.
