Attractive buckskin D pony mare

It is with mixed feelings that we are looking for a lovely new home for our attractive, talented New Forest buckskin mare. A true dressage star.

13 years old
1.48 m
s. Orchid’s Castanii,

She also has an interesting pedigree.
She had a foal in the past, has competed at Z2 dressage with her previous owner and 0.90 showjumping.

She has very neat manners, is extremely pleasant to handle and around, easy to load alone, very relaxed on the horse trailer. Well-behaved under saddle too, can be a bit spooky but an experienced rider easily rides through that. Due to her alertness, she makes the best combination with an experienced rider, not a beginner. Not spooky, or silly antics, just a real sport pony, keen and talented.

Dressage-wise, our 11-year-old daughter gets along with her very well. She has really grown in that thanks to the pony. Showjumping, on the other hand, does not click. The pony enjoys jumping but also finds it very exciting at the same time and therefore needs an experienced rider who gives her confidence, and also because she gets a bit hot while jumping. Our daughter cannot give her that stability and security. That is where the shoe pinches here, because our daughter does like to jump.

Pony has very good movement, has 3 very good paces of which an outstanding extended trot.

Her vaccinations are up to date, she has nice clean legs, is good with the farrier and also social with our other horse (not dominant). She is very content both in the stable and in the field. Here she has also stayed outside at night in the summer, which she liked just fine too. She is a real sweetheart, a cuddler, an honest pony. That did not necessarily make the choice easy.

She passed a clinical inspection 6 years ago and 7 months ago. Reports available.

Her very fine Busse dressage saddle (custom-fitted to her) can optionally be purchased for an additional price.
