Habibi – Florencio x Johnson | Z-class mare with quality and a golden temperament

Habibi is a Z-class mare with great aptitude for dressage. She possesses three good basic gaits and shows high quality in her movement. She particularly excels in the extensions: she moves with power, scope and expression, clearly showing that there is still plenty of potential for the future.

She has a wonderful attitude and loves to work for her rider without getting too hot. The basics are well established and she masters all the exercises of Z1 and Z2 well. For an ambitious rider, she also offers plenty of opportunities to train her further and make great progress together in the sport of dressage.

What also makes Habibi special is her incredibly sweet and reliable character. She is willing to work, people-oriented and pleasant to handle. It is precisely this combination of quality and character that also makes her very suitable for a rider transitioning from pony to horse. She gives her rider confidence, while at the same time possessing sufficient quality and talent for an ambitious sport career.

Habibi has been with me since her second year of life. At the age of four I backed her myself and a strong bond of trust has been built up since then. She is sold with a heavy heart due to a young family and no longer being able to combine it with the sport.

Habibi has no stable vices and is also pleasant with children; my kids of 3 and 5 can groom her and walk with her. She also enjoys an occasional hack out.

Her sport pedigree is also interesting. Full brother Kafu has been trained to Small Tour level in Lithuania. Half-brother Lexington (Lambada) competes at Z2 and is making the transition to ZZ-Licht. Half-sister Nouska is about to start M1 and is provisionally keur, and half-sister Piabella competes at L dressage. The damline also features three other Z-class horses, a Prix Saint Georges horse and a 3* eventer.
