Versatile and experienced KWPN schoolmaster

It breaks my heart to offer my horse Ebantos O'Brien, barn name Toss, for sale due to my studies.

Toss is a 17-year-old KWPN, bred for jumping and stands approximately 1.74 m tall. He is a versatile and experienced horse who still loves to work and thoroughly enjoys various disciplines.

Currently, Toss competes at B+7 dressage, B cross-country and 1.00 m showjumping. In the past, he has jumped up to 1.30 m. Thanks to his experience, he knows his job well and can teach his rider a lot.

Toss is a horse who loves to work for you and has a nice forward-going nature. He has a bit more "go" under saddle, but remains well-behaved. In my opinion, this makes him very suitable as a first horse for a rider who has been riding for a long time, or as a great transition from pony to horse. He can teach you a lot, but due to his forward-going character he is less suitable for a true beginner. He is incredibly forgiving when ridden; especially during showjumping courses he will truly do everything to take you through the course. He easily fixes wrong distances himself, making him really wonderful for gaining course experience. But he is also very well suited for higher-level work. He has the right attitude and technique to jump higher.

Outside the arena, Toss is also lovely. He goes out hacking alone every week, is traffic-safe and loves to go out exploring. At competitions he is a bit more alert than at home, but he does not do anything silly and remains easy to ride. Toss is also ridden weekly in group dressage and jumping lessons, so he is not fazed by a busy arena.

Toss is an incredibly sweet and easy horse to handle. He is well-behaved in the stable, easy to catch from the pasture and stands quietly on the grooming cross-ties. He loves attention and cuddles and enjoys being around you. Loading is also easy.

Toss has always been properly maintained and checked by the vet and is currently shod in front. In 2023 he passed a clinical vetting without remarks, and he has had no issues during the time he has been with me.

The reason for sale is purely due to my studies. Unfortunately, this means I can no longer give him the time and attention he deserves. Therefore, I am looking for a wonderful new place for Toss where he can continue to enjoy working and someone can have a lot of fun with him.

With serious interest, I am of course happy to tell you more about Toss.
