More about George

George is truly a picture to behold! But handsome as he is, his temperament is perhaps his greatest asset. George is an incredibly sweet, level-headed gelding with a particularly pleasant disposition and an endless dose of patience for children.

What makes George so special is the way he handles less experienced young riders. Where some ponies might get a bit quicker or insecure when their rider doesn't quite know what to do yet, George remains calm and patient. He would rather wait patiently than start going faster on his own accord. That also makes him particularly interesting for smaller children who are still learning. He has now also been ridden a few times by a small child. Of course, this was done under supervision, but George handled this in a remarkably well-behaved and relaxed manner.

Also away from home, George left a fantastic impression during our video day. While taking the photos, he stood completely still and didn't put a foot wrong. He remained incredibly well-behaved and relaxed, despite the new environment and all the activities around him. Exactly that level-headed disposition is also reflected in his daily work.

George has furthermore gained experience with practice showjumping and hacking out. In traffic he also shows his good side, as can be seen in the videos. Even loading onto the horse trailer is very easy: the video shows how he lets himself be loaded by a child. With his fine disposition and sporting potential, he is a promising pony to train further at a calm pace.

In short, Ruiten A George is a dream picture with a golden temperament! An incredibly sweet, patient and level-headed young pony with great sporting potential. A particularly fine foundation to grow further together with the right guidance!
