Top All-Round Dressage and Sport Pony | New Forest D-Mare (Z1, Ster, Provisional Kroon) Incl. saddle, bridle, etc.

Offered incl. Saddle (worth € 2,650), bridle, blankets, and all other accessories.

Our "Once in a Lifetime" New Forest D-pony Proud Princess. After 6 unforgettable and extremely successful years – with a recent highlight of a brilliant 5th place at the Dutch Championship (NK Hippiade M2 with 67.833%) – it is time for our rider to transition to horses. We are therefore looking for a fantastic new 5-star home for this exceptional top mare.

Passport name: KTC’s Proud

Sport name: Proud Princess

Pedigree: s. Reecamp’s Eclips x ds. Molenaar’s Golden King (Dam: KCT’s Celesta, preferent, prestatie)

Born: 21-03-2016 (10 years old)

Height at withers: D-pony (1.43m)

Sport Career & Championship Titles

Proud has been completely trained by ourselves from green under saddle to a confirmed Z1 dressage level. This was always done under weekly professional guidance, giving her a very correct, honest, and dressage-oriented foundation.

• NK Hippiade 2026: 5th place M2/DE at the Dutch Championship in Ermelo.

• Championship titles: Multiple Brabant Champion and Dutch Champion at the Hippiade (teams of four). Recently finished 3rd individually at the Brabant Championships in the M2 class!

• Individual success: 4x District Champion of District de Baronie and multiple times delegated to the Brabant Championships (B, L1, L2, M1, M2).

• Show experience: She shone twice in a show at Horse Event and gave a demo performance at Camping Breehees. Unfamiliar terrain, large crowds, atmosphere, or applause? She loves it!

All-Round Talent with Jumping Aptitude

Although her focus was on dressage, she is a true all-rounder. She easily and happily pops over a small jump (0.80m - 1.00m). She has never officially competed in showjumping and has always jumped recreationally, but she definitely has the aptitude, attitude, and a good jumping pedigree for it.

Predicates & Exclusive Breeding Value

Proud is entered in the studbook with the Ster predicate and was declared Provisional Kroon at the Central Mare Inspection.

• Prestatie pony predicate can be applied for immediately.

• On the way to definitive Kroon: Upon achieving 5 winning points in the Z1, she will immediately acquire the prestigious Kroon predicate. We currently intend to achieve these Z1 points ourselves before she is transferred.

• Top dam line: Daughter of the famous mare KCT’s Celesta (preferent, prestatie) and half-sister of the NNFPS-approved breeding stallion KCT’s Rico. This also makes her interesting for breeding.

Character & Care

• Personality: Proud is an exceptionally sweet, affectionate, and very easygoing pony. She is incredibly calm in hand, and under saddle, basically anyone can hop on and ride off. She remains a mare, of course, so she occasionally has a small "mareish" moment, but she always remains very controllable in this. An absolute darling of a pony; this is hard to explain, you simply have to come and experience it yourself!

• Health: She goes barefoot and is a "hardy", healthy pony who has never been lame a single day or had a medical procedure. Vaccinated annually (semi-annually for Rhino) and well-behaved with the farrier, dentist, clipping, and on the trailer.

• Particularity: Recent blood work showed an increased sensitivity to mites. When you ensure the right basic management (such as good stable hygiene and targeted care), you never notice this in practice, and it never hinders her sport performance.

Practical Information

• Including: Her trusted saddle, bridle with bit, blankets, and all other accessories.

• Exams: All pre-purchase exams permitted (costs for the buyer).

Match & Guidance

Because a perfect 5-star home and the right click come first for us, we offer serious interested parties all the space and time they need. You are most welcome to come trial ride multiple times and get thoroughly acquainted with Proud, so that both parties are 100% convinced this is the right choice.

We are also happy to remain involved after any purchase: if desired, we will gladly offer the new rider guidance and support during the start-up phase. Naturally, completely without obligation and without further commitments, purely to ensure a fantastic and flying start for this new combination!

We prefer Proud to go to a young rider of about 10 years old with some experience, so that she has a reliable buddy to build a bond with for a few more years.

Price

Proud falls into the normal price range for a pony of this age, level, and experience. A good match and a 5-star home are the most important things to us.

*Traders, riding schools, and bargain hunters need not reply; we are offering a well-trained sport pony with proven achievements for someone who genuinely wants to progress in the sport.
