I am looking for a golden home for this 8-year-old beautiful gelding with daily free range.
He stands up a dressage riding school and is ridden dressage twice a week and the rest is lunged/left outside and walked. He has learned everything (including starting changes) from dressage, but due to too little daily free movement (in the stable) he is sometimes stiffer/irregular. Complete scans were taken this spring and mild osteoarthritis was diagnosed in the right front of the fetlock. The vet recommends more pasture or paddock so that he has free exercise every day. This way there is no problem. Unfortunately I cannot offer this myself. He is a fantastic horse and I am sure he can make someone else very happy.
Very reliable horse (never buckled, etc.) both outside and when walking with loose reins (does not scare easily), has a lot of confidence in the rider. Ridden with a bar and snaffle during dressage. It requires a rider with experience as well as a light rider on the back.
Is 1m76 very affectionate and sweet, no stable defects, just that there are dogs/cats hanging around. Is very social and reliable and sweet with other horses. Has a booklet and is fully up to date with vaccines, deworming, blacksmith. No need for horseshoes at the moment. Is originally a show jumping horse (jumps high) and has good papers from Singers Heide.
Ps: I am transparent so that you know in what circumstances you will enjoy it. I only sell to people who are a match for him, who can offer him free exercise/pasture every day and take him as a recreational horse (walking, basic dressage or jumping).
