This particularly beautiful (dark) chestnut mare with a lighter mane/tail has three very good gaits. The walk is very spacious with plenty of shoulder freedom. She trots with a lot of tact, nice knee action and a very good hind leg. The gallop is uphill with an actively understeering hind leg.
The mare naturally has a lot of balance, is very easy to ride and has a nice soft touch. She likes to think actively and is very eager to learn. Her character is very sweet, down-to-earth and not nervous.
‘Red Wine’ (Ruby Rebel VDV) recently successfully participated in the KWPN Young Dressage Talent event. She won prizes in a strong field of participants: Walk: 8.5 Trot: 8.2 Gallop: 8.6 >
Aptitude as a dressage horse: 8.4
The juries found her to be “a fine, workable and very talented mare with three very good gaits”
The mare is owned from a D-OC predicate and comes from a predicate rich sport line, which would also make her well suited for breeding:
m; STER, provisional KEUR, D-OC
m. m.; STER, PROK (also produced the stallion ‘Osborne’ designated by the KWPN)
m. m.m.; STAR, PREFERENT, PERFORMANCE, PROK
