I have had Nick for two years now and have just trained him to the point where he has already completed M exercises. We still start in L1, the last time with 190 points.
I also jump in club lessons and he really enjoys the practice course.
We go on a trail ride almost every weekend and have already ridden the Horse Four Days Marches twice.
Nick is 6 and a cuddly toy and sweet. No stable defects. Versatile and with looks :). He is good under saddle. If he finds something scary, it is often uncertainty and you can easily convince him that it is good. No crazy pranks, bucking or prancing.
Why do I want to sell it then, I almost hear you thinking. I have a busy new job and notice that I cannot offer him what he needs. I’m more likely to grab my stoic Icelander to drive. Then I don’t have to think and just sit. I don’t think this is fair to Nick, he is standing still too much now.
Are you looking for a versatile horse with potential for sport?
A well-behaved and sweet horse?
Maybe Nick is something for you.
